I’ve been busy-slash-lazy-slash-dating a girl. I have not spent alot of time thinking about the website lately. The ratings period is back on, so it’s back to going 200% every day. Trying to stay focused. This website doesn’t make me any money, and really doesn’t get alot of hits, so I try to update it whenever possible. Here is my big update for the last week!
Idol Idle Thoughts.
First off.. Why is Quentin Tarantino the Idol mentor this week? “Songs of the Cinema” Great he makes movies. Should I quote Simon? “It’s a SINGING competition”
I’m becoming an Idol Prediction Pro! I think of the last few weeks, my predictions have all come true. You don’t have to check past posts, or anything, just.. trust me. Last week, I know I was right about Scott going home. That’s all that matters.
Amanda Irahita – Aerosmith “I Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing.” I kinda hate this song. Downer. Didn’t seem like she was giving it her all to me. Like she only served up 75%. Judges were happy, tho. I think she could be in the bottom 3.
Anoop Desai – Bryan Adams – “Everything I Do” Aw! I loved Robin Hood and Morgan Freeman as “Azeem”. They’re not saying “booooo” they’re saying “Anoooooop!”
Adam Lambert says he’s gonna bring a little “Electronic” to “Born To Be Wild”. This should be… oh jeez.. he skipped to the front of the stage.. OH Tounge Check! YeeeaaaaaAAAHHHH!!!! Nevah, gonna diiieeeeEEEAAAhhhhh!! *tounge. I hate him, but he’s safe.
Matt. – “To Really Love A Woman”. Bottom 3. I was only listening, not watching. I didn’t realize he was playing piano. Meh
Danny Gokey - Meh, also. I don’t even remember what song he did, and I’m not interested enough to rewind the DVR. Bottom ?
Chris – “Falling Slowly”.. I think they said. Not sure. Never heard of it. Obscure, Kara says. She is right. I should know all these songs. I kinda work in radio. Whatevs.. anywa…… Zzzzzzzz… OH sorry. Fell asleep. Go home.

I originally said Anoop would go home. Before they even performed. After the show, I say Chris, or Matt, or Anoop. Is that the bottom 3? Maybe. Tomorrow, Jennifer Hudson returns to the show that gave her a huge break, and Mily Cyrus performs “The Climb”. She sings; “There’s always gonna be another mountian, I’m always gonna wanna make it move. It’s all about the climb.” I’m weirded out when a 16 year old is giving life advice.

I read an article that said most people on Twitter are 35+. Everybody says “explain it, what’s the point”. I don’t think I want to anymore. I get the Fail Whale more than I get to log in. Stay away. I need to stay connected, you don’t. I will pass along important messages. Like when new Dave Matthews Band music is available. DMB is reallyly the only band I’m interested in paying money to go see. So, this is only really interesting to me, and the other DMB Fans, but, here it is. New single “Funny The Way It Is” from “Big Whisky & The Groo Grux King” available June 2nd.
